Professional Experience:

Total I have More than 7 years experience.
  • I worked at different places as a community psychiatrist, I worked in national institute like PGI Chandigarh, medical colleges and Govt. institutions.

Clinical skills Professional Development:

  • Providing outpatient and inpatient care, dealing Adult Psychiatry care, Substance Abuse, Consultation- Liaison Cases, Women Mental Health Disorders, Geriatric Psychiatry and Child   Psychiatry Cases.
  • Experience work as a part of multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience in community Psychiatry. 
  • Experience in the application of electro convulsive therapy.
  • Explaining  treatment plan to the patients and their family members, Prescribing medications, conducting counselling sessions, improving my knowledge by attending  departmental presentations, conferences and  teaching to various medical and non medical professionals.

Research:

  • Dissertation my junior residency period “A prospective study of patients presenting with conversion disorder symptoms with relation to possible ethiology, clinical features and socio demographic profile”.
  • I ’m the part of research work titled “cognitive functioning in opioid dependent patients treated with buprenorphine” during my senior residency period in PGIMER, Chandigarh.
  • I’m the part of dissertation work titled “The relationship among quality of life, suicidal ideation and psychiatric co morbidity in alcohol dependent subjects” during my senior residency period in ASRAM medical college, Eluru.
  • Psychological impact of COVID-19 pandemic on health care professionals and workers- published in  Industrial Psychiatry Journal as a second author.
